Under ASQA (The Australian Skills Quality Authority) the Sustainable Living industry is not currently regulated. As such, there is no requirement to have the course accredited at this stage. However, this doesn’t mean accreditation won’t happen in the future. With this in mind, the course has been created to facilitate modules that can be easily adapted to Cert IV accreditation should it be required and all students of the course can apply or RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) and obtain their Cert IV in Sustainable Living Practices. Once you have completed the course you might successfully obtain work in the industry such as through local councils, pre-schools, schools and nurseries or even start your own consultancy business.
